If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below. 

Nursery and Reception admission application forms are available online at flintshire.gov.uk and the school adheres to Flintshire LA policy for admission arrangements. Our statutory planned admission number is 30. 

 

Nursery: Provision is made for pupils to visit the Nursery prior to the start of the Autumn Term, so that the children and their families can become familiar with their new class teacher. The intake of Nursery pupils takes place on a staggered basis and you will be informed in July of your child’s start date. We feel that having small groups at a time will help your child to settle in far more quickly and the staff will be able to devote more time to individual pupils. Nursery sessions begin at 8.55 am and end at 11.25am. 

 

Reception: An Induction Information evening is held in the Summer Term prior to your child starting in Reception Class and you are informed of dates and arrangements well in advance. Pupils are admitted on a full time basis from the start of September. The school day starts at 8.55am and ends at 3.15pm. Please ensure that your child is punctual in their arrival and if you are delayed for any reason at the end of the school day – please ring and inform us. Late attendance and collection is recorded and if persistent will be reported to our Inclusion Welfare Officer.

 

Admissions to all other year groups: For admissions to other year groups – please contact the school office/LA Admissions at County Hall, Mold or visit Flintshire.gov.uk for online admission application. Admissions procedures take 7 to 10 working days following receipt of LA notification, completed school application pack and pre admission visits/meetings where required.
